In this workshop, you’ll learn the 101 on horticultural therapy (HT) and then put it into practice with an activity!
I love this workshop because it’s a great way to learn something new, create an hour of calm for yourself, and connect for a little social well-being.
We’ll cover:
• What horticultural therapy (HT) is and how it started
• The mental, physical, and social benefits that can come from it
• How you can practice it at home (for free!)
• A calming HT craft activity
Participants are responsible for suppling their own craft materials. Nothing fancy and things you probably already own: a shallow bowl or plant saucer (10-12 inches), a large glass of water, and plant materials (a handful of flowers and leaves -found outside your home or store bought).
